Inde Navarrette’s fashion style is interesting because the same person can make worn denim and a sculptural evening outfit feel plausible. For this guide, we looked at three documented 2026 appearances: a Gap campaign, a Dior front-row look and a Balenciaga premiere outfit. The useful thread is a change of emphasis: texture, a sharp outline or one conspicuous detail, rather than everything competing at once.

These are public, professionally presented looks. They cannot tell us what she wears every day or who made every styling decision. Below, the dated references are separated from our suggestions for adapting an idea with your own clothes.

Inde Navarrette’s Dior look: polished jacket, distressed jeans

At Dior’s Spring/Summer 2027 show on 29 September 2026, Navarrette wore a short cream jacket, a white T-shirt and distressed straight-leg jeans. Vogue Italia’s report identifies contrasting dark buttons and a camel corduroy collar. The jacket supplied structure; the denim interrupted its neatness. That contrast is the part worth studying, rather than treating a ripped jean as the whole outfit.

Try the relationship: put a boxy jacket over jeans you already wear. Compare a plain T-shirt with a patterned one. If both jacket and jeans have a busy surface, the plain layer gives the eye a resting place. A clean pair of jeans will produce a quieter result; you do not need to distress fabric to borrow the idea.

Check the jacket with your arms down and while seated. A shorter hem may show the trouser waistband; a longer one may cover it. Neither is inherently better. Choose the point where the two garments meet that you enjoy, then check that the jacket still closes comfortably.

Which jeans did Inde wear in the Gap campaign?

Gap’s official Fall 2026 announcement names Navarrette and Malcolm Todd as the faces of “Denim on your own.” It identifies the Mid-Rise Straight Taper Jean on Navarrette. This is a documented campaign credit, not evidence that every pair of jeans photographed on her comes from Gap.

Use the silhouette, not just the product name: take a pair of relatively straight jeans and compare them with a narrower ankle opening. Try both with the same top and shoes. Notice whether the hem rests on the shoe, bunches over it or stops above it. That small meeting point changes how relaxed the whole outfit reads. Our trouser-break guide explains the comparison in more detail.

The Balenciaga premiere outfit: one dramatic detail

For the Los Angeles premiere of Jackass: Best and Last on 24 June 2026, Tatler documented a Balenciaga Spring/Summer 2026 two-piece: a fluid cropped top and a long, low-rise skirt with a sculptural floral detail near the hem. It offers a different reference from the Dior denim look: a restrained colour story with the visual activity concentrated lower down.

A wardrobe version: pair a simple top with a skirt that has one feature you want to show—an asymmetric edge, a fold, a soft ruffle or interesting movement. Try removing one accessory before adding another. A decorative hem is easy to overlook if a large bag sits directly in front of it.

You can keep your middle covered with a longer top or a higher waistband. The useful idea is the distribution of detail, not the amount of skin visible. For an evening out, test the outfit while walking and sitting before deciding whether the hem and bag are practical together.

A closer look at the real TIFF photograph

JoshPopov’s photograph above records Navarrette at Toronto in September 2026. Look at the fine, reflective surface of the sleeveless dress and the much smaller points of light in the necklace. There is texture across a broad area, but the jewellery does not compete in scale. The image source does not identify the dress maker, so we are leaving that attribution open.

This gives another useful experiment: try a textured or subtly metallic top with a fine necklace, then with a heavier one. View both from across the room, not just in a close-up mirror. Keep the version in which the detail you care about remains visible. Our neckline and necklace guide offers further comparisons.

Three outfit formulas to try

  • Daytime contrast: a structured light jacket, a plain T-shirt, familiar denim and comfortable shoes.
  • Quiet evening: a simple top, a skirt with movement and a compact bag carried away from the skirt’s main detail.
  • Texture first: a softly reflective top, a plain dark bottom and one small piece of jewellery.

These are Runway Note suggestions, not claims that Navarrette wore these exact combinations. Start with one formula and change just one element. A useful style reference should help you make a decision in your own wardrobe, rather than give you an entirely new shopping list.

Is there one name for Inde Navarrette’s style?

These examples do not fit neatly into a single aesthetic. The Dior look mixes polish and worn texture; the Balenciaga outfit makes a sculptural gesture; the TIFF photograph foregrounds surface. Describing the actual clothes is more useful than attaching a permanent label to a person. For a contrasting approach to everyday dressing, read our Gigi Hadid style guide.
